Österlen Surfcenter

Österlen Surfcenter is a wave surf school at Kivik in Österlen, on Sweden's south-east coast facing the Baltic Sea. The school presents Österlen as the best wave surfing destination in Sweden and runs a lodge in the heart of the region, overlooking heath and sea.

It offers daily surf lessons, with a "Surf Alert" group to be told as soon as there are waves, plus themed weekends (surf and horse riding along Österlen's white beaches, surf and yoga, taster camps, a ladies' camp), summer holiday camps for children and end-of-year camps. The school says Österlen has waves from almost every wind direction, including offshore days, and that the Baltic's low energy makes it possible to learn on green waves.

Courses are also offered in Portugal.
