Snowkiteskolan is the snowkite school of Tänndalen in the Funäsfjällen area of Jämtland. Courses and guided tours run all winter with experienced instructors; most students are up and running after a few hours of practice. You ride on skis or a snowboard, linked to a kite by a harness.
The launch is just past the Hamraliften lift, where there is also a heated hut; Tänndalen's round, open summits, reliable snow and steady winds make it a favourite for beginners and advanced riders alike. The school also rents kite equipment and runs guided tours.
