School Presentation
Blekinge Surf is an IKO-certified kitesurf school based near Ronneby in Blekinge, southeast Sweden. The company, founded in 2009 around scuba diving, has since refocused on water sports. It also rents SUP boards and kayaks, and organises SUP ball tournaments, kitesurf trips and team-building activities.
Courses follow the IKO syllabus, in groups of at most four: a one-day basic course (5 h), a two-day complete course (10 h), taster courses and extra days, ending with an IKO certificate. They run by appointment from April-May to September-October depending on water temperature, most often at Torhamns udde, and the place is chosen the day before. The Blekinge archipelago, wide but not extending far out, offers spots for all wind directions, with many low islands.
