SPLL Surfkeskus Yyteri

The Yyteri Surf Centre is the watersports centre on Yyteri beach in Pori, on Finland's west coast. It is run by the Finnish Sailboard and Kiteboard Association (Suomen purje- ja leijalautaliitto, SPLL) and is open daily from 11:30 am to 7 pm until the end of August.

It offers beginner and advanced windsurfing and wingfoil courses, in groups or privately, with advice on equipment and technique through to jumps and wave or freestyle tricks. The centre also rents beginner and freeride windsurf boards, wingfoil gear, wave boards, skimboards, hard and inflatable SUPs, and wetsuits.

The centre sells passes for the changing rooms, showers and sometimes the surf sauna, daily or seasonal gear storage, and a surf week. Rentals and courses depend on the weather: no equipment is rented above 8 m/s mean wind or during thunderstorms.

Open daily 11:30 am to 7 pm, June to the end of August (2026 season). Changing rooms, sauna and storage are open from 8 am to 10 pm to season-pass holders until the first autumn frosts. Online booking at least 2 hours ahead; for shorter notice, call.
