Lynæs Surfcenter

Lynæs Surfcenter is a water sports centre in Lynæs harbour, on the shore of Roskilde Fjord in Halsnæs, North Zealand. It was started by brothers Jeppe and Johan, first as a small kitesurf school in the family's old harbour grocery shop, then grew into a full water sports centre.

You can learn kitesurfing (a 2-hour discovery session on land with a trainer kite, a 10-hour beginner course, 3 to 5-hour refreshers, company courses for up to 15 people), windsurfing (group intro and beginner courses, a 3-day package, private courses for 1 to 7 people, children's courses from age 8 on 1.5 m² sails), paddle and kayak. All equipment is included; beginner windsurf rigs (sails 1.5 to 5.5 m²), paddle boards and kayaks can be rented by anyone who can do at least what the basic course teaches. Children's holiday camps run in summer.

The centre also has a clothing shop, a beach café and a restaurant, a sauna with cold plunge for up to 12 people, yoga classes, a programme of concerts and events, and accommodation in the harbour (shacks, a bungalow, cabins and tents).
