Safi Surf Club

Safi Surf Club is a surf school on Safi beach, on Morocco's Atlantic coast, affiliated to the Royal Moroccan Surfing Federation. It teaches beginners, intermediates and experienced surfers, children and adults alike, in group or private lessons that combine theory and water time, and also takes on groups for coaching and corporate team building.

Several activities share the same site: the school itself, a surf shop that rents boards and wetsuits, a coffee shop and a yoga and fitness space. The rental stock is advertised as foam boards for first sessions, longboards and progressive shortboards, and more than a hundred wetsuits, from summer shorties to 3/2 and 4/3 full suits. Guests are housed at the Riad du Pêcheur, a traditional riad overlooking the ocean with a restaurant, a panoramic terrace, a Moroccan lounge and a central patio.

The school mostly sells packages: a day taster, a weekend, a relaxed week, a Pro Surf stay with transport to the regional spots and photo and video coverage, a two-week digital nomad formula, or a stay combining surfing with a pottery workshop, a Safi speciality. A webcam streams beach conditions from the website. The same business also trades as Safi Surf School, Safi Surf Camp and Riad du Pêcheur: it is one single operation.
