Cheddar Watersports - Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club

Cheddar Watersports is the watersports centre of Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club (BCYC), on Cheddar Reservoir near Axbridge in Somerset. The club presents this calm, flat inland water, with the shore close in every direction, as an ideal place to take first steps in wing foiling.

The BCYC Wing Foiling School offers beginner and intermediate wing foil lessons and clinics, with all equipment provided, taught by a qualified RYA wingfoil instructor; the school is run by members of the Velocity Foiling team. The club is also an RYA training centre offering windsurfing courses and taster sessions, with kit hire for members. More than 50 wingfoilers sail regularly at the club, which hosts an annual Fin & Foil festival on the first May bank holiday.

The club also offers dinghy sailing, stand up paddleboarding and kayaking. Members can use the water seven days a week in summer and at weekends in winter for windsurfing.
