School Presentation
FahlénSurf is a kitesurf, wing foil, windsurf and surf school based at Apelviken, on the Varberg beachfront. Its courses started in 2001 and the team is made up of certified instructors.
The Apelviken center, open from 1 June to 20 September, offers wing foil, parawing, wave surfing, windsurf (two times four hours), stand-up paddle and SUP yoga courses, plus two- and five-day camps for ages 8 to 13. Kitesurf courses with a certified instructor are held at Björkängs Havsbad south of Varberg, in three formats. In the low season, from October, the team moves to Träslövsläge.
FahlénSurf also rents gear: learner boards, softboards, paddle boards, windsurf, hand wings with a board or foil, wetsuits and skimboards. Changing rooms and showers are available near the center. Payment is by Swish, gift card or cash.

Equipment rental, prices shown on the website (year not stated): learner board 300 SEK (1.5 h), 550 SEK (3 h), 650 SEK all day; softboard 300 SEK (1.5 h), 400 SEK (3 h), 500 SEK all day; hand wing with windsurf or SUP board 400 SEK (1.5 h), 650 SEK all day; hand wing with hydrofoil 500 SEK (1.5 h), 800 SEK all day; wetsuit 100 SEK with a board, 200 SEK all day.
