East Coast Watersports

East Coast Watersports presents itself as the first wingfoil school in the UK. It is a BKSA school teaching around Essex and Suffolk from West Mersea.

Courses last two hours, in small groups of four or one-to-one. They take place on the most suitable beach of the day: the lagoon at Point Clear, the sheltered River Stour or the beachfront at Frinton-on-Sea. You can bring your own kit or rent the school's. A safety boat allows boat-assisted lessons, and downwinders from Brightlingsea Harbour are offered for groups of up to four.

The school also adds e-foils (Foil Drive) to its wingfoil teaching and runs clinics, evening socials and overseas wingfoil trips (Tenerife in March 2026, other destinations announced).
