Outer Reef Surf School

Outer Reef is a surf school based in Pembrokeshire, Wales, established in 1999. Lessons run on three beaches of the south-west coast: Freshwater West, Manorbier and Newgale.

The programme covers beginner lessons (from age 7), improvers, private family sessions, advanced coaching and longboard coaching, plus a Pembrokeshire surf camp. The school also offers paddleboarding (including at Tenby), kayaking and coasteering at Stackpole Quay for families and groups.

Outer Reef also trains surf and SUP instructors (ISA levels 1 and 2, beach lifeguard), runs surf holidays abroad and the Salty Sisters women's surf community. An online store sells wetsuits, clothing and accessories. The school holds an AALA licence for its outdoor activities.
