Surfschule Badsee has taught windsurfing for over forty years, right on the Badsee at Isny/Beuren in the Allgäu. The lake is shallow, which suits beginners. Courses are open to adults and young people from age 12, in groups of 5 to 10.
The basic course lasts two days (12 hours, 10:00 to 17:00) with simulator training on land; stable boards, sails from 1.5 to 4.2 m² and wetsuits are supplied. A version with exam and the basic VDWS licence is available, as is the exam alone for experienced windsurfers. The school also runs one-day summer holiday courses for young people, gift vouchers and registration by WhatsApp.
