Skhirat Surf School (AJSS)

Skhirat Surf School, which also goes by the acronym AJSS, is a surf school on Skhirat beach, in the seaside district next to the Royal Palace, some thirty kilometres south of Rabat. The AJSS club has been documented on this beach since at least 2017, when its instructors ran the school-holiday surf camps organised by Sable et Cahier, a charity that teaches literacy to children from the beach.

The school takes children from the age of five and works in small groups, with a maximum of four pupils per group lesson. Alongside surfing it offers bodyboarding and bodysurfing, guiding for independent surfers, and fishing trips. Its Instagram account, followed by more than 3,400 people and holding over 300 posts, is its only public channel.

It publishes no website, no email address and no prices. Not to be confused with Association de Surf Skhirat Plage (ASSP), a separate school on the same beach whose name is almost identical.

No opening hours are published. The school is reached by phone or by direct message on its Instagram account.
