School Presentation
Windsurfcenter Roermond is a windsurf school on its day beach ("dagstrand") at the Oolderplas lake near Roermond, in Dutch Limburg. The site has a large lawn for rigging your gear, where you can also simply enjoy the sun.
Lessons are given by professionals, with equipment included (Starboard Start, Fanatic Viper and RRD Easyrider boards, Tiki and Fanatic school sails from 2 m²). There are three options: two hours of lessons with one hour of free practice (maximum three participants), a six-hour day (maximum six participants) and a ten-hour course over two days leading to an internationally recognised diploma after an exam. The longer options are not offered in July and August.
The site also rents windsurf boards, SUPs, kayaks, canoes, wetsuits and harnesses (board rental is limited to holders of a windsurf diploma), and offers yearly memberships. A windsurf shop, taken over in 2022 under the name "Windsurf & More", is attached to the site.

Lessons: 2 hours with one hour of free practice, 40 EUR per person; 6 hours, 69 EUR; 10 hours over two days with diploma, 110 EUR (year not specified). Windsurf board or SUP rental: 10 EUR per hour, from 55 EUR per day (2026 season). Entry: 1.50 EUR per person.
