Surfana Vlieland

Surfana Vlieland is Surfana's surf school on the island of Vlieland, located on the Stortemelk campsite right by the sea and within walking distance of the ferry and the village centre. Surfana, which also has a school at Bloemendaal aan Zee, runs lessons, camps and stays there.

It offers surf, stand up paddle and surfskate lessons, as well as equipment rental. The website praises consistent waves on the island, shaped by the groynes into good lines, with conditions suited to beginners and more advanced surfers alike.

The school has a reception, a changing room, an outdoor cold shower and a place to relax before and after the lesson. The neighbouring Surfana camp lets you stay overnight. Holiday camps for teenagers aged 12 to 17 are also offered on Vlieland.
