Kitesurfschool Texel

Kitesurfschool Texel is a kitesurfing school based in De Koog on the island of Texel. Its founders, kitesurfers since the early days of the sport, set it up in 2005 and it now runs from a beach pavilion at beach pole 17 (paal 17), a short distance from the resort.

The school offers an introductory lesson, a crash course, a basic course and a full course for beginners, followed by follow-up lessons and courses as well as hydrofoil and wave sessions. Lessons are given in small groups and no previous water sport or kite experience is needed.

Equipment can also be rented, with or without instructor supervision. The pavilion lets you leave your things during the lesson and relax afterwards. When the wind is wrong at pole 17, the team moves to other spots around the island.
