Holy Surf Morocco, which also trades as Surf Camp Essaouira, is a surf school and camp in the centre of the village of Sidi Kaouki, 25 km south of Essaouira. Lessons are taught by instructors holding the French federal BF1 qualification, and the foam board, leash and wetsuit are supplied.
The school takes children from the age of 6, with a dedicated format for 6 to 12 year olds, and adults from beginner to intermediate. Sessions run an hour and a half to two hours. The camp also sells surf coaching stays, surf coaching with yoga, and surf guiding, and organises longer surf trips.
Accommodation is split between a hostel with a pool in the heart of the village, a beachfront villa, and a dar that groups can book outright. Moroccan food is cooked on site by the house chef. Private transfers from Marrakech and Agadir airports are offered as an extra.
