School Presentation
Kauai Beach Boys is Kauai's original surf school (Hawaii) and the beach concession of the Kauai Marriott on Kalapaki Beach in Lihue. It has been under the same ownership since 1983 and carries on the tradition of the Hawaiian beach boys of the 1950s and 60s.
Surf lessons (1.5 hours) take place in Kalapaki Bay, a sheltered beach well suited to beginners: small classes, with board, leash and rash guard included, ages 10 and up; students must be able to swim. The school also offers stand-up paddle lessons, outrigger canoe surf rides and sunset catamaran cruises.
Beach gear can be rented too, such as lounge chairs with an umbrella.
