Mogasurf

Mogasurf is a surf and kitesurf school based at Sidi Kaouki, 25 km south of Essaouira. It claims fourteen years of activity and more than 3,500 riders taught, with instructors certified IKO for kiteboarding and FFS for surfing. Lessons run either on the Sidi Kaouki break or in Essaouira bay, and the transfer to the spot of the day is part of the package.

Formats range from group lessons, four students per instructor at most, to one-to-one coaching, with a semi-private option in between, in blocks of 2 to 12 hours. The school also sells supervised sessions for riders who are already independent, guided surf-trip days, and session photos and video.

Accommodation is at Villa Sunset, a house with a pool, a large garden and sun terraces, holding four rooms: one triple, two doubles and a suite. The standard stay runs eight days and seven nights, full board with home cooking, including return transfers from Essaouira airport and the surf or kite lessons.

Open every day from 9:00 am to 10:30 pm. The school advertises roughly 300 windy days a year and publishes no closing season.
