Girl In The Curl

Girl in the Curl is a surf school and shop in Dana Point, on Pacific Coast Highway. Opened in 1997 as a surf shop and school just for girls, it now welcomes surfers of all ages and levels.

It offers group classes for young surfers, clinics, private lessons, and sessions for special occasions such as birthdays.

A surf camp runs in spring and summer for participants aged 7 and up, and there is also a teen camp. The shop sells apparel and equipment rentals are available. A second location, the DOHO Surf Club, is in Dana Point Harbor.
