La Push Surf Adventures

La Push Surf Adventures offers surf lessons, gear rentals and surf retreats in La Push, on Washington State's Pacific coast.

The 2-hour lesson includes about 15 minutes of gear prep, 15 minutes of instruction out of the water and an hour and a half in the water. It covers the board, wetsuit, hood and booties, plus water safety, wave knowledge and etiquette, paddling and board positioning. A group rate applies for four or more people.

The school also rents a full set of gear for 24 hours (surfboard, wetsuit, booties), picked up between 8 and 10 am. The surf retreat weekend includes two days of lessons, a camp spot on a private 5-acre farm along the Bogachiel River, two dinners, and access to a yoga room and a shared kitchen.
