Gorge Foil Academy is a hydrofoil coaching school based in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, one of the best foiling playgrounds in the world. Instruction is personalised and built around progression.
The programme covers wing foil (from first steps to sessions for tacking, jibing and riding swell), parawing, tow foil and bump foiling, downwind stand up paddle foiling, and a foil gear consultation.
The coach, Brandon Scheid, is a professional kiteboarder and foiler who lists several Triple S titles and two AWSI Kiteboarder of the Year awards.
