Gurferlady

Gurferlady is a surf school and community in Palm Beach County, Florida, founded by Mary Glazier, who sees surfing as an outlet for mental health, movement and creativity. A self-taught "gurfer" (girl surfer) herself, she set out to build a welcoming surf community around lessons, clubs and art.

It offers private lessons, small group clinics and large party sessions, taught by instructors with more than ten years of ocean experience, lifeguard certified, licensed and insured. A monthly membership gives access to the community, monthly art workshops and events; a class calendar is published on the website, and sign-up is by text message.
