Kite Riders

Kite Riders is a kiteboarding sales and lesson operation based in Madison, Wisconsin, in business since 2003. It describes itself as the leading supplier of kite gear and lessons in Wisconsin and the Midwest: kites, boards, harnesses, wetsuits and accessories, including Slingshot, Cabrinha, Armstrong and F-one.

Kiteboarding and e-foil lessons are given in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota, one-on-one or with at most two students per coach. There are no camps or large groups: sessions are scheduled at short notice, only when there is wind. Snowkite lessons are also offered in winter on frozen lakes and fields, for skiers and snowboarders.

Training gear can be rented (kite, board, harness), and kiteboarding trips to Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, run for two weeks each spring and fall.
