Waves Surf Academy

Waves Surf Academy is a surf school created in 2013 in Delray Beach, Florida, originally under contract with the city. It now welcomes more than a thousand students a year through its camps and programs, working with beach clubs, hotels and schools across South Florida.

Private and group surf lessons run daily from age 4 at a private hotel beach in Delray Beach (free parking during the session); the school can also come to your home or another beach, with a USD 50 travel fee. Instructors are lifeguard certified, boards are provided and the program is licensed and insured.

The school runs spring and summer surf camps for ages 5 to 15 (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 2:30 pm), with surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, beach games and marine biology lessons, at a ratio of one instructor to five campers. It also offers mobile swim lessons and lifeguard services.

Surf lessons daily, on request. Spring camp (March 16-20, 2026) and summer camp (June 1 to August 21, 2026), Monday to Friday, 9 am to 2:30 pm. Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
