Cape Hatteras Surf School

Cape Hatteras Surf School is a surf school teaching at the breaks of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. It is run by Billy Crews, a surfer for 27 years who learned to teach at age 13 from retired professional surfers Reece and Casey Patterson and has given thousands of lessons.

The school offers 90-minute lessons, one-on-one or in groups, with a beginner-friendly soft-top board provided to each student. Guardians of participants under 17 must stay at the lesson location. It also runs performance camps, including Tyson's Performance Camp, and team surfing sessions, and publishes tips for planning a stay on the Outer Banks.
