School Presentation

KiteSurf Wilmington is a small kitesurfing and wing surfing school working around Wilmington and Carolina Beach (North Carolina). It is run by David Sink, who has taught kitesurfing for about twelve years and says 85% of his students are up and riding in their first lesson.

An intro lesson starts with a trainer kite (15 to 60 minutes), then a full-size kitesurfing kite, before going on the water. Gear is supplied, and David can also teach on the student's own gear. Children from age 10 can learn with the trainer kite.

Offers include a 3-hour private lesson with jet ski support, a partnered lesson, a three-session Zero to Hero package, winter landboarding sessions, daily rentals of kitesurf, wing and SUP gear, free buying advice, gear sales and small kite repairs. The website also lists private boat outings to coastal islands with kitesurfing or wakesurfing.
