Learn 2 Surf East London is the local branch of the Learn 2 Surf network of surf schools. It has coached since 2010 at Nahoon Beach, from age 6, with a maximum of 5 students per coach. Surfboards, wetsuits and rash vests are provided; lessons depend on the weather.
It offers group and private lessons for beginners and intermediate surfers, and presents Eastern Beach as a good learning spot.
