KiteWorldWide Brasil - Tatajuba

The KiteWorldWide station in Tatajuba, between Jericoacoara and Camocim, is presented by the German kite holiday organiser KiteWorldWide as a VDWS kite centre managed by the company, located at the Tatajuba river mouth. On its Google listing, the business describes itself as a kitesurf club with lessons from beginner to advanced, equipment rental and a beach restaurant with feet in the sand.

Lessons follow VDWS and IKO standards, with recent Core Kiteboarding and Duotone gear according to the website. The packages include semi-private courses (12 h for beginners, 6 h for intermediates), a private lesson for advanced riders, equipment rental and storage. The website also announces a new KiteWorldWide Beach Club a few metres from the former school.

The spot is a river mouth with a shallow lagoon at high tide, suited to beginners, and a wave spot a few hundred metres away. The freshwater Lagoa da Torta is about 4 km away, and downwinders are possible.
