Foil Journey - Wingfoil | Parawing

Foil Journey is a foil school created in 2023 by André Ferreira, a waterman with 16 years of windsurfing, kitesurfing and wingfoiling, supported by his partner Júlia Morais. It teaches wingfoil (its specialty), parawing, SUP foil and prone foil, and runs from two bases: Brazil (Preá, September to January) and Portugal (Viana do Castelo).

In Brazil, beginner lessons take place at Lagoa do Paraíso, a flat freshwater lagoon about fifteen minutes from Preá (30 minutes from Jericoacoara), rather than in the sea. The school picks students up at their hotel; transport, equipment, food and drinks are listed as included in the lagoon package. A radio link between student and instructor is used during lessons.

It also offers advanced coaching (on the lagoon or at sea, with video analysis) and downwinders along the coast.
