Rancho do Kite - Escola de Kitesurf Preá

Rancho do Kite is a kitesurf school in Preá (Cruz, Ceará) founded in 2006. According to its website, its founders Vanessa and Mosquito started teaching kitesurfing in 2003, qualified with IKO and developed a method that mixes theory and practice: kite control on the beach, then body drag in the water, then the board.

The school claims to have trained an average of 10,000 students (the school's own figure) and teaches kitesurf, hydrofoil and wing foil, with polyglot instructors and locally trained instructors. Winds blow steadily from June to February according to the site. Lessons run daily; the school also has villas and a kite center on Preá beach.
