Bertonesia Foil Club

Bertonesia Foil Club is a foil school based at Marina Guararu on the São Paulo coast (Guarujá / Bertioga), about 1 h 30 from the capital. Its website describes it as the only structured tow foil surf spot in the Southeast.

The "Zero to Hero Foil" course lasts 3 days at 3 hours a day (9 hours on the water): first flight, controlled flight, then a first wave at sea. Equipment (board, foil, wetsuit, vest, helmet), jet-ski towing with a driver, a helmet-integrated radio for real-time coaching, GoPro videos and one instructor per student are included. Swimming ability is required.

This is not a kite or wing school: learning is done towed, but the structure also welcomes kite or wing riders who want to move to foiling (its contact form includes that profile).
