The Hand Kitesurf & Windsurf (Escola The Hand)

The Hand is a kitesurf and windsurf school in São Miguel do Gostoso (Rio Grande do Norte), run by instructor Junior The Hand, active since 2003 and presented as an instructor authorised by the CREF (regional physical education council). The website presents it as the Naish kiteschool of São Miguel do Gostoso and mentions a branch at Perobas (Touros).

The kitesurf course consists of 5 modules of 2 hours, one-to-one, at low tide, with radio helmets, recent equipment, photos and video of the lessons and buggy transport paid by the school. The school states it is the only one in Brazil taking students to a different beach or lagoon each day depending on conditions. An intermediate / advanced course (jumps, transitions) and a windsurf course are also offered.
