Marotti Windsurf Centar

Marotti Windsurf Centar, established in 2019, is based in the bay of Volosko, just below Opatija on the Kvarner riviera. Its owner, Enrico Marotti, is presented as a two-time windsurfing world champion. According to the website, the bay gets the Tramontana every morning, a northern thermal wind of around 15 knots, which allows windsurfing almost all year round.

The centre offers windsurf, windfoil (windsurf foil) and wingfoil lessons and rentals, e-foil lessons, SUP (organised tours, SUP yoga or rental), kayaking, towable tubes, an aqua park, boat rental and team building. Lessons are given in Croatian, English, German or Slovenian; they include a safety briefing, land simulator training, in-water coaching and personalised feedback, with board, sail, wetsuit and safety gear provided.

For rentals a rescue boat is on standby, but rescues caused by negligence or misuse of equipment are charged extra.
