Wildwind Vassiliki

Wildwind is a British dinghy and catamaran sailing centre on the beach at Vasiliki on Lefkada, separate from Club Vass. It presents itself as active for over 37 years, with more than 70 boats lined up on the beach (Hobie Cat, Laser, RS), experienced instructors and holiday packages with beachfront accommodation.

Windsurfing is one of the activities on offer: it is run in conjunction with Club Vass, a windsurf centre about 50 m away, with lessons four days a week in two two-hour sessions by RYA-qualified instructors. According to the website, that centre has over 250 Fanatic and Starboard boards and over 300 Severne sails. Wildwind also runs dinghy and windsurf instructor training courses.

Conditions are typical of the bay: a gentle onshore breeze in the morning for beginners, then a cross-shore thermal wind building in the afternoon on flat water. Bookings are made through the website or WhatsApp.
