School Presentation
ZanteWindsurf is a small windsurf school based in Tsilivi on the island of Zakynthos (Ionian Islands). It is run by Manos, a local windsurfer and VDWS-certified windsurf instructor who reports having taught over 220 students.
The school offers beginner and fast-track lessons for adults and children. Each session starts with a theory part, then takes place on a calm beach with a 220-litre beginner board and a 2.5 to 3.5 m² sail. Progression goes from balancing on the board to basic manoeuvres, the 180-degree turn, then tacking and gybing.
Beginner equipment is provided. Conditions stated on the website: minimum age 8, swimming ability required, lessons subject to weather, licensed instructor and lifeguard present.
