Freestyle Windsurf Center is a small family-run centre on Prvi Žal beach in Lumbarda, on the island of Korčula. Run by Bruno Filipović, it says it has been operating for over a decade.
The windsurfing school offers a 2-hour short course (basics on a dry-land simulator, then on the sea with the instructor following in a kayak) and a 6-hour long course spread over several sessions (starts, turns, course correction, manoeuvres). The centre also rents beginner windsurf gear, kayaks and SUPs, and runs guided kayak/SUP tours in the Korčula archipelago, a floating aquapark and sailboat trips.
