Kitesurf Split - Waveshop

Waveshop and the Kitesurf Split club run a kitesurfing school near Split, from April to October. The website of the Waveshop store (Split) presents it as one of the oldest kitesurf schools in Dalmatia; the instructors state more than 17 years of experience.

Lessons are one-to-one (one student per instructor, at most 2 students per instructor for groups) in a shallow lagoon at Pantana, near Trogir. The full course is 8 hours spread over 3 to 4 days depending on weather and progress: theory and trainer kite on day one, bodydrag and first steps on the board on day two, then waterstart and riding. A 2-hour discovery programme and one-to-one improvement hours are also available.

The school teaches on recent North equipment; it advertises discounts for children, groups and families, free transport to the lesson site, free testing of new gear for experienced riders and a discount in the Waveshop store (Obala Ante Trumbića 3, Split). Each student signs a liability waiver.
