Sunwind Surf Club

Sunwind Surf Club is a water sports centre on Golden Beach, Paros, in the Cyclades. Its website mentions 25 years of operation and more than 3,000 students taught windsurfing. The club is owned and run by Paros local Theo Fisilanis, who has taught on the beach for over twenty years; he is certified by the Hellenic Sailing Coaches Association and holds a lifeguard certification.

The centre offers windsurf rental (board and rig of choice, unlimited equipment exchange depending on the season, harness), wing foil, SUP and kayak rental, windsurfing lessons for all levels with special small equipment for children, and wing foil lessons. Kitesurf lessons are offered off site. A rescue boat, board storage and repairs are mentioned, along with a surf shop, beach volley and sun loungers.

Golden Beach is known for the meltemi, which according to the site blows from the north about 80% of the time in summer. Water is flat inside the protected bay and choppier outside; for waves, the club points to Tsoukalia, a 15-minute drive away. First-timers start under instructor supervision, with safety as a stated priority.
