Big Blue Surf Center is based in Psalidi, the "wind capital" of Kos, since 1996 according to its website. The meltemi blows strong and steady there, 15-25 knots almost every summer day, from the left.
The centre rents windsurf and wing foil equipment for beginners, improvers and advanced riders, with supervised sessions. The fleet includes Duotone, Goya and WeOne boards and Duotone and Gun Sails rigs from 2023 to 2025. Snacks and drinks are delivered to the sun beds; showers, toilets and a changing room are available.
