Damnoni Watersports Center

Damnoni Watersports Center is a watersports station on Damnoni beach on the south coast of Crete, about 5 km from Plakias village, in front of the Hapimag resort. It is open to resort guests and to all water sports lovers. The manager, Giorgos, has run the station since 2001; he is a water ski instructor (Greek federation) and has taken several VDWS courses (windsurfing, catamaran).

On offer: windsurf lessons (private or group, with a VDWS licence at the end of the course), sailing on Hobie Cat 15 and Catsy children's catamarans, wing foil, SUP (lessons, morning tour, sunset tour, SUP yoga), plus water skiing, wakeboarding, jet ski and towed inflatables. The enclosed bay suits beginners and intermediates, with a rescue service.

Rental: windsurf (VDWS school sails or North monofilm sails, Starboard and Big boards), catamarans, SUP, SUP foil and wing, pedalo, canoe and skimboard.
