ASD Kitemaniak

A.S.D. Kitemaniak is a non-profit sports association founded in 2008 and listed in the CONI register through the Italian Sailing Federation since 2012. Its Kitemaniak kiteboard school, founded in 2009 on Lake Trasimeno by a group of friends and federal instructor Filippo Covarelli, is presented as the only one in Umbria recognised both by CONI (FIV) and internationally (IKO).

The school teaches kitesurfing (short, base, intermediate and advanced courses) and also offers windsurf and stand up paddle lessons. The equipment partners named are Ocean Rodeo, Flysurfer and Crazy Fly, and communication devices keep the instructor in contact with the student during private lessons.

The association also organises sports events to promote the lake sportingly and for tourism, as well as school projects.
