School Presentation
SottoVento KiteSchool is a kitesurf school and IKO centre in Gela on Sicily's south coast, with a base between Gela and Butera. It presents itself as Gela's first kitesurf school, recognised by CONI for promoting kitesurfing in southern Sicily, and was founded to develop sports linked to the sea and the beach.
It offers beginner, intermediate and advanced (freestyle) courses, free sessions and equipment rental (kite, board, harness, impact vest, helmet and wetsuit, with every kite size depending on the wind). All instructors are IKO certified, multilingual and qualified to teach children. The site also offers weather, a webcam and prices on request.
