Scuola Vela e Windsurf San Vito Lo Capo (Centro Mare Sport)

Scuola Vela San Vito Lo Capo (Lay Line, at the Centro Mare Sport) teaches dinghy sailing and windsurfing in the gulf of San Vito Lo Capo in western Sicily. Private lessons cover theory (nomenclature, points of sail, basic manoeuvres, sail trim, navigation and safety rules, weather basics) on Laser dinghies (Bahia, Standard, Bug, Pico, 16), Tridente 16 and Easyrider boards, backed by photo and video material.

The centre stands out for a sailing school for the youngest, rents dinghies and windsurf boards (from school boats to acrobatic catamarans), runs sailing excursions and offers sailing holidays for groups of at least five students, with b&b accommodation, meals and transfers. SUP is also offered.
