Kailua Wing Foil Kite School Versilia

Kailua is a sports association promoting wing foiling, kitesurfing and parawing on the Versilia coast, at Marinella di Sarzana and Fiumaretta. Instructor Alessandro leads the lessons and the association works with North Foil, whose equipment it makes available to members.

Wing foil teaching follows two steps: first sailing with the wing on a high-volume board (basic manoeuvres, all points of sail), then moving on to the foil with a suitable board and hydrofoil. Lessons are followed from a support boat, notably in the Monte Marcello bay, at Fiumaretta and at Bocca di Magra. The school says it was the first in its area to teach wing foil, then parawing.

Two membership packages are offered; the website asks to message via WhatsApp to book. The year's North gear can be tested, with advice on sizes for buying.
