School Presentation
Gargano Lake Kite School (ASD) is a kitesurf school based in Lesina, in the north of the Gargano, in Puglia. It teaches on Lake Lesina, a shallow brackish lagoon (1.5 m maximum depth) with flat water, and along the Lesina Marina shore.
The lake spot lies south of Marina di Lesina. Ideal winds are south, south-west and west; launching is from the shore or from the pier, with boat recovery available. The flat water suits beginners as well as freestyle.
The school offers private lessons (one student, one instructor) or semi-private lessons (two students, one instructor) with CSEN-CONI qualified instructors: a basic course (trainer kite, rigging, flying in the wind window, body drag up to the water start), an advanced course (riding, upwind), freestyle (first jumps) and kite hydrofoil, using microphone helmets for live feedback.
