Meron Surf School

Meron Surf School is a surf school in San Vicente de la Barquera (Cantabria), founded and run by two locals, José Manuel Ramos 'Yuka' and Aritz Ugarteburu, who have more than twenty years of experience as instructors. The school is close to Merón beach, in the Oyambre Natural Park, a recently recognised World Surfing Reserve.

It offers lessons for anyone wanting to improve and surf camps for all levels. Equipment is good quality: over 130 Billabong wetsuits (summer and winter), Softech and Indigo boards, and epoxy boards. Instructors are certified (Spanish surf and rescue federations) and the school is recognised by the Spanish Surf Federation (FES) and the Cantabrian Surf Federation.
