Albufeira Surf & SUP

Albufeira Surf & SUP is a school founded in 2014 by three friends who have surfed in Albufeira for more than twenty years (the website mentions local instructors who have surfed here since 1994). It started as a surf school on Galé beach, then added kayaking, stand up paddle and coasteering from São Rafael beach.

Surf lessons take place at Galé: 2 hours, equipment and instructor included, in a small group (maximum 6 students per instructor), as a private lesson (1 to 4 students) or in the standard format. The school also offers SUP and kayak tours to the caves, a private Benagil tour, hard and soft board and wetsuit rental, a surf café with a shop and group activities. Phone bookings are taken from 7 am to noon.
