School Presentation
HOLAOLA Surfescola presents itself as the first surf school in Barreiros, active since 2000 on the A Mariña de Lugo coast. It teaches at two beaches: Coto beach in Barreiros (Lugo, Galicia), a wide, well-equipped beach with powerful waves all year, and Penarronda beach in Barres (Castropol, Asturias), a dune-backed bay with gentler waves breaking right to left.
Lessons last two hours, in small beginner or improver groups, with a short theory part followed by practice in the sea under the supervision of qualified instructors. Private lessons are available on request. Temporary facilities on each beach are used for bookings and rental. HOLAOLA also runs surf and street shops in A Coruña, Ribadeo and Foz.

Rental: board EUR 15 for 2 h, EUR 20 half day, EUR 25 full day; premium board EUR 25 / 30 / 35; wetsuit EUR 10 for 2 h, EUR 12 half day, EUR 15 full day.
