Puerto Deportivo Guadalix (Escuela de Vela Valmayor)

Puerto Deportivo Guadalix de la Sierra is a watersports base on the Pedrezuela reservoir, north of Madrid. It hosts the Valmayor Sailing School, which left the Valmayor reservoir when the Canal de Isabel II closed the facilities there in April 2016, and presents itself as "your sailing and windsurf school in Madrid".

The offer includes dinghy sailing courses for children, adults and families, windsurf courses, stand up paddle and kayaking, plus discovery days for groups and companies. The school states its instructors are qualified and that it is approved by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation.

The facilities are open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30 am to 8 pm (closed Mondays).
