School Presentation
Marias Surf School & Store is the surf school of the Marias brand, born in 2019 when Bruno Aguiar opened Marias Hostel & Surf at Furadouro, in the municipality of Ovar (northern Aveiro coast). The brand brings together a hostel, a guesthouse, the surf school and an online shop.
The school teaches surf, longboard and stand up paddle from age 6, from first lesson up to confident intermediate level. It is certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (no. 596) and registered with Turismo de Portugal (RNAAT no. 160/2021); its coaches hold the official surf coach licence.
The online shop sells boards, wetsuits, neoprene accessories, leashes, fins, wax, roof racks and repair supplies, along with products made in Portugal. Lesson packs are sold online.
